June in Dubai is hot and humid.

The record low temperature in Dubai during June is 19.4 C (66.9 F).

Does It Rain in June?

June features about 18-20 mostly sunny, 3-5 partly sunny, and about 7 mostly cloudy days.

Rainfall is rare, occurring only about once every other year, however, you should expect blowing sand or dust on about 16 days this month.

Daylight

The number of daylight hours this month is fairly constant, ranging only from 13.6 hours on the 1st to 13.7 hours on the 21st.

Windspeed

Average wind speeds during this month tend to be light to gentle, averaging 6-19 kph (4-12 mph) but occasionally can be moderate at 20-28 kph (13-18 mph).

Water Temperatures

The beach may be a good way to get some relief from the June heat as the ocean temperatures in June, although warm at around 30-31 C (86 to 88 F), are still considerably cooler than the hot daytime air temperatures.

What to Wear in Dubai in June

Hot summer weather prevails this month but always wear clothing that covers your shoulders and your knees.

Dress in light, airy fabrics that will keep you cool but do not wear clothes that are too tight or too revealing for both men and women.

Women should wear loose-fitting dresses and tops and trousers. Skirts should be knee-length or longer, and shorts should be avoided.

It is best to avoid wearing any sleeveless shirts, sleeveless dresses, mini-skirts, and short shorts. Also don’t forget to bring sunglasses, a sun hat, and sunscreen.

Things to Do in Dubai During June

With the weather getting pretty hot during this time of year, you might want to consider avoiding too much time outdoors.

That said, there will probably be plenty of pay-what-you-wish Dubai walking tours available in June.

If you want to avoid the summer heat, make sure to plan out as many nighttime activities as possible. One interesting idea is an evening Dhow cruise!

Anyone visiting with their family will likely want to participate in at least a few outdoor activities, and we recommend heading to waterparks such as Aquaventure and the LEGOLAND Waterpark to beat the heat.

Most of these activities are included at no extra cost with the Go City Dubai Pass, so you might actually be able to save some money while enjoying some of the best summer attractions in the city!
