image1 Come explore 3 of New York City’s most iconic neighborhoods- the Lower East Side, Nolita, and the East Village. We begin in the Lower East Side: Steeped in over 300 years of history, we’ll see it transform from its early days as a refuge for pirates and ne’er-do-wells, to the home of wave after wave of immigration, to the quickly revitalizing, shabby-chic artist’s enclave of today.

From there we move to Nolita. Now an elegant and trendy neighborhood of chic boutiques and cafes, it was once a part of Little Italy. We’ll visit old gangster hideaways, America’s first pizzeria, and NYC’s only Basilica- Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral (where the baptism scene in the Godfather was filmed!)

We finish our journey in the East Village where we’ll hit the Bowery, a 400 year old thru-fare that has undergone a radical transformation in the past 30 years. What was once a rough and tumble street known to be the underbelly of NYC, the Bowery now features swanky hotels and upscale boutiques and bars. We’ll pass by the exact spot where the famous rock club CBGB once stood and explore NYC’s punk rock history, beautiful historic buildings, and much more! With time for a delicious snack break, of course!

Some of the sites we will see on the Lower East Side, Nolita and East Village Tour:
