This post is about how to choose a hotel in Times Square. We list budget, moderate, and luxury hotels along with room prices.

Overview
We've looked at over 70 Times Square hotels and broken them down into price ranges: budget (under $200 per night), mid-range ($200 - $300 per night), and luxury ($400 - $600 per night).
The prices listed are based on the cost of the least expensive room for two people (typically a standard Queen or King).
We looked at prices from three times of the year (Low Season, Shoulder Season, and High Season).
Within those brackets, we looked at mid-month prices for the following months:
- January - Low Season
- October - Shoulder Season
- August - High Season
We did not look at prices for major holidays like Christmas, New Year's Eve, and national holidays when prices are at a premium.
The prices listed do not include the NYC occupancy tax of 14.75%.
We also do not include resort fees or facilities fees that may be added to your stay in our price brackets. We do, however, note if a hotel charges such a fee.
We do note when breakfast is included!
