Where to Store Luggage in Madrid

LUGGAGE STORAGE IN MADRID (THE AIRBNB METHOD)

Radical Storage

Radical Storage partners with a myriad of local businesses such as bike rental shops, laundromats, hotels, restaurants, and cafes to safely hold onto your luggage while you explore Madrid.

They call these locations “Angels,” and it will cost €5 per bag for 24 hours for an Angel to keep your bags. Keep in mind that reservations are non-refundable or cancellable once you make them online.

The price includes insurance of up to €200 for each bag.

LUGGAGE STORAGE AT THE AIRPORT

Madrid Barajas Airport

Excess Baggage Company operates a luggage deposit out of the Madrid Airport, which could make exploring during long layovers very convenient. Every bag will be subject to inspection and x-rays.

Locations and Times:

  • Terminal T4 on Arrivals Hall, Floor 0 - Open 24 Hours
  • Terminal T1 by Baggage Claim, Floor 0 - Open 24 Hours
  • Terminal T2, on Arrivals Hall, Floor 1 - Open 5:00 am - 22:00 (10:00 pm)

Prices:

  • 0 - 2 hours: €6
  • 2 - 24 hours: €10
  • Each additional 24 hours: €10
  • One Week: €50

LUGGAGE STORAGE AT MADRID TRAIN STATIONS

Madrid Atocha Railway Station

Luggage Storage in Madrid's Train Station

If you’re using the Atocha train station, leaving your bags at their left luggage facility could be convenient - as long as you can work with their opening hours. They’re located next to the tropical garden and open from 5:30 am - 22:20 (10:20 pm).

Prices per Day:

  • Small bag: €3.10
  • Medium bag: €3.60
  • Large bag: €5.20

TRADITIONAL LUGGAGE STORAGE FACILITIES

Lock and Be Free is a more traditional luggage storage company with three locations in Madrid, and a few others throughout Spain. The facilities have 24-hour security cameras and free wifi within the building.

Hours: 

  • Access to Lockers: 24 hours
