If you are aiming to visit a real London pub (or boozer as we call them) during your stay well then why not do it properly and visit four?

Our historic riverside pubs tour will take you through the heart of the East End’s old dock network where will pay a visit to four of London’s best known and most famous pubs...

  • The Angel
  • The Mayflower
  • The Town of Ramsgate
  • The Prospect of Whitby

The tour will take in two of the pubs in quick succession at the start, before you will get a chance to walk off your chosen refreshment with a trip through old dockland streets and across the iconic Tower Bridge. This will be around a 45 minute walk and a running commentary on the area and it’s long and variable history will be provided. You will hear about trade, travel, piracy, executions and many of the exotic and bizarre goods that were imported into London through these docks systems - at one time the biggest in the world!

/> (It is advised to use the toilet before this part of the tour!)

Then it’s time to refresh in another two of London’s best boozers.

The tour will take approximately three hours and you will get 20-30 minutes in each pub. You are responsible for purchasing your own refreshments.

Why not book a table for dinner at the finish?
