Where to Store Luggage in Dublin

Updated: 19 noviembre 2023

This post will outline the multiple options you have for storing your luggage in Dublin, whether it is in the airport, train station, or with an Airbnb-style location.

LUGGAGE STORAGE AT AIRPORTS

Dublin Airport

Upon arrival or departure at Dublin Airport, you no longer need to worry about storing your luggage as manned and screened luggage storage is provided at the airport.

Dublin Airport Luggage Storage

However, it can be useful if you are only planning a short layover and are not staying in the city overnight.

You can find luggage storage at the Dublin Airport - Terminal T1 arrivals hall, which is open 05:00 - 21:00 7 days a week.

Of course, Terminal 1 is a large area encompassing many different services including restaurants, a variety of shopping locations, children's play areas, bathrooms, and more.

In such a large area, it can be difficult to find the luggage storage locations.

Luckily, we have a map you can use below which shows exactly where to find the Excess Baggage Company.

As you can see, the left luggage service in Terminal 1 is actually located near the southern end of the terminal across from the check-in areas.

This is a manned and secure luggage storage facility where bags are screened (x-ray) before storage.

The price of storing your luggage at the airport starts at €9 for up to 4 hours, €15 for 24 hours, €22 for 48 hours, and increases based on length of time.

TIP: If you have a lot of luggage, Excess Baggage Company offers luggage trolleys for free which will allow you to easily carry your suitcases around the airport without working up a sweat!

You'll find the trolley base across from the security station in Terminal 1, on the south end of the terminal adjacent to the left luggage services.

One great luggage delivery service company is Eelway.
